Served In a Pot
Les Cocottes could certainly be one of my favourite places in Paris. They offer a great atmosphere and fantastic food at a fair price. Unfortunately they don’t take any reservations, but finding a seat or two isn’t impossible. I think that we, without intention, managed to arrive just in time for the lunch rush but it wasn’t a problem at all. Like the name indicates, everything is served in small Staub “cocottes”. It’s a fun concept that works great. The former Hotel Crillon chef Christian Constant has really hit a home-run with this restaurant, located just a few steps from the Eiffel Tower. The bœuf bourguignon is the best I’ve ever had.
