Here’s a little recap from my day yesterday. The rain has finally stopped pouring down and the sun has found its way back to Paris! Time for ballet flats and dry sidewalks. I’ve heard many people say that Paris is more beautiful in the rain, but I must say that I prefer Paris with a bit of sunshine.
I wandered around the small streets in the neighbourhood Le Marais and enjoyed the nice weather.
In Le Marais I met up some friends for a lunch date at my favourite pizza place called La Briciola. They really have the best pizza I’ve ever eaten outside of Italy. And, they also serve Pozzetto ice cream for dessert. Yum!
After lunch it wasn’t just sunny anymore, it was burning hot. I had to head back home again and change into something cooler. I brought around 20 dresses to Paris but I haven’t had the opportunity to use more than two or three so far so I couldn’t miss out on this chance!
I visited the Institut du Monde Arabe and their terrace on the top floor which had an absolutely gorgeous view of the city.
After that I ended up in St Germain and walked along the beautiful Rue de Grenelle to reach my goal…
Musée Rodin and its amazing garden. This place is now one of my favourite places in all of Paris. The garden is just breathtaking and so serene and calm. I couldn’t stop taking pictures so more will definitely come.
