If you happen to be in the city during fashion week and want a small taste of this huge spectacle, which are really the best places to hang round at? Well, you don't necessarily have to notice that the fashion mafia, super models and all the high heeled fashion fashionistas have invaded the city if you're not we're the action is. So for those of you who despise this week, relax. You can breath. Just don't visit the following places during the 25th of September to the 4th of October.
Jardin des Tuileries Just like New York fashion week has the Licoln Center as a starting point, Paris has the Jardin des Tuileries as theirs. Although now many shows are also held at other places in the city, quite a few shows are still happening in the Tuileries and during these, the park is filled with gorgeous people with the most elaborate outfits.
Grand Palais This is the location where Chanel usually hosts their show during Paris fashion week. This magnificent building really matches all the craziness that goes on outside before the shows and the brands luxurious feeling. Now a few other fashion shows are also held here. Since the Grand Palais can hold quite a few people, you have to count on a massive crowd both before and after the shows.
Cité de la Mode et du Design, Les Docks Until the 7th of October Balenciaga will have an exhibition here which could tempt a few fashionistas flown in to Paris to make a little visit. If not, you'll always have an absolutely gorgeous exhibition to feast your eyes on!
Palais de Tokyo This year a few shows will also be held at the newly remodelled Palais de Tokyo, which is located along the Seine on Avenue du Président Wilson. If you unfortunately miss the fashion shows you could always visit Palais de Tokyo or Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
The hotels of Paris If there's something that you can know for sure it's that the fashion crowd have to spend the night somewhere. And if they don't stay up all night long, going from one designer party to the next, they have to stay at a hotel. So, if your obsession has taken it to a whole other level, you could always camp outside hotels like Hotel Costes or Ritz Paris.
