When I moved to Paris last winter I was part of a couple and head over heels in love. When I moved this time around I arrived with a broken heart and a million new and strange feelings all at once. I must admit that I was terrified about facing Paris again... Simply because you'll find signs of love and happiness absolutely everywhere you look, even if you're not looking! I was afraid that this would be way too much for me to handle since I just got out from a long relationship and that all the signs, couples kissing and embracing one another everywhere would be like being punched in the stomach x 100.

Even though it's incredible sometimes I must admit that seeing all the love in this city doesn't make it that much worse. I actually still think these little signs of love that you'll find everywhere in Paris are sweet and they often put a smile on my face. Although I could do without all the people groping each other in public places and trying to stick their tongues as far as they possibly can down each others throats. But hey, that's just me!

Anyway, I guess the point I'm trying to make is that Paris can be great and absolutely amazing even if you're not in love. Although Paris is known as "the city of love" I think it's a pretty good city to experience on your own as well!
