For exactly one year ago I arrived in Paris, with tons of baggage, scared to death and filled with excitement all at the same time. I had absolutely no idea about what the future would hold for me or what the outcome of my little move to Paris would be. Today, a year later, I can look back and laugh about how many times I panicked before my first move, how absolutely terrified I was when I sat down on the plane leaving Stockholm behind and how paranoid I was about not feeling at home or meeting new friends.
It's amazing how much I've grown as a person this past year and how much stronger I feel now. I'm certain it has a lot to do with my move and doing something completely out of my comfort zone. Things that scared me to death the first time around almost feel normal now. You really get to know yourself when doing a thing like this, I've figured out so many strength that I posses and a few weaknesses as well. To all of you who are thinking about doing something similar, I say: go for it!
This year has been one of the best years in my life so far and at the same time the hardest one ever. It has brought so unbelievably many changes and unexpected turns (both good ones and bad) that I don't even dare to think about the year that lays ahead of me now. But I can't wait to find out!
I'm so happy that you all have come with me on this journey and I'm forever grateful for all of your wise and thoughtful comments that have helped me and given me so much invaluable inspiration during this time. I never thought that starting a little website, sharing my photos and experiences, could give me so much back. You've made me smile over a million times and actually made me laugh out load when reading your wonderful words. Yes, It's sounds cheesy but it's so true!
I hope you will follow me and my journey during this next year as well. Thank you one again for all your love and support. And happy blog birthday!
