Inside the Louvre

As I previously  told you I've visited Paris four times before and lived here during four months last spring and now again for a little over a month without setting my foot inside the Louvre one single time... Well, this week that changed and I can now finally tick of this enormous museum from my to-do list! I think I've always avoided this particular place since I'm not a big fan of being squashed by huge crowds, but thanks to wonderful Edna I got to see the Louvre quite empty, without long lines everywhere and giant hoards of people. Yay!

Edna kindly guided me through the museum, which she knew like the back of her pocket (to me it seemed that way at lest) and told me small bits of information about pieces here and there and since my only knowledge about the inside of this museum involves Tom Hanks (haha yes, I know, shame on me!) I was more than happy to being able to find out a little bit more.

I got to see everything I wanted to and more, and this without having to use my elbows to get through crowds. I would love to return, preferably during an early mornings so that you can wander these beautiful halls calmly and undisturbed like we did. After our morning visit to the Louvre we headed to another place I've been dying to go to for a while but I'll let you know more about that tomorrow! And yes, of course, it involves something sweet.
