Pelouse en Fête
As many of you probably know the lawns in the parks of Paris are not always okay to sit on (or to even walk on) and seeing a sign saying "pelouse interdite" is extremely common. But every spring the city opens up (most of) the lawns to the public again and to celebrate this I was invited to a wonderful picnic in Parc Monceau. But it wasn't your regular "any-day-of-the-week-picnic", oh no, this was a picnic where our amazing host made us homemade pavlova with fresh fruit and berries for dessert, another great cook brought us homemade whipped cream and strawberries, a guitar player entertained us with beautiful tunes and where we got to enjoy (and try on) some gorgeous jewellery.
I guess this is one of the perks having a friend who's a jewellery designer... Olivia makes the most gorgeous rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces with beautiful stones that will make your jaw drop. Just look at that pink gorgeousness in the photo above! Of course a little bit of jewellery shopping makes any kind of picnic more fun. If you're in love with these pieces you should check out her Etsy shop.
Thank you so much for organising everything Lauren! I had such a great time and it was so nice getting together with so many friends at once. And fortunately, we were incredible lucky with the weather as well. Now I just think I have to ask for that yummy Pavlova recipe...
