Yes, I'm very happy for all the wonderful things I've experienced in Paris since I came back in January this year. The food, the city, all the sights, the (thousands of) desserts and all of the new experiences I've gotten to enjoy. But on top of that list, and what I'm the most happy about, are all the amazing people I've met along the way. During these months I've met some of the most awesome and inspiring people I've encountered so far in my life. Amazing friends that have made me laugh so hard I've started crying, friends I know I can call in the middle of the night and they would come over straight away, friends I want to be around every single second of the day, friends I can admit my deepest and darkest secrets to, friends who've helped me through both difficult and amazing times, friends who only want the very best for me, friends who believe in me more than I do at certain times and friends who I will never ever forget.
... Unfortunately when you live in a dream city, like Paris is to so many people out there, people tend to come and go. Now it's time for some of the best people I've ever had the privilege of knowing to leave this beautiful city behind and move on to new and exciting adventures. My heart will break once I really realise that I won't be able to see them every day anymore. For me the city will seem very, very empty once I return to Paris after the summer. But I also know that we'll stay friends forever.
