People often ask me "What? Where's that?" when I tell them I'm going to Terracina on vacation (except for the people who know Italy like the back of their hand or live in Rome of course), and that suits me just perfectly! In a smaller town south of Rome with delicious ice cream and other yummy treats, a beautiful beach, the best pizza ever and lively streets during evenings and weekends, is where you can find me during most summers. Here I have everything I need and more. After about two weeks in this lovely little place I've gotten the chance to relax, a little tan, late nights with the best of friends, a few barbecues on a gorgeous terrace and way too much sugar in my system. The perfect vacation in other words!
For those of you who are interested in seeing what I'm talking about Terracina is just a little train ride (around 1 hour) away from Rome. While there I suggest staying at Hotel Poseidon (located just a few meters from the beach), grabbing a sunbed at the beach club Beach Point, arranging day-trips to Sperlonga, San Felice Circeo (where a few of the photos above are taken), the stunning Ponza islands and Sabaudia.
