November in Rome

After photographing Paris for a long time it's always nice to photograph something else for a change. Don't get me wrong, I love having Paris in front of my lens but sometimes it's nice to get a break from each other too. That makes me appreciate the my own city even more once I'm back again. Anyways, one of my favourite cities to photograph, besides from Paris, has to be Rome. It took me a while to decide on how I wanted to portray this city when I visited this summer (I think each city can be photographed in such different ways) but in the end it was those warm, orange tones that won me over. It's one of the things I love the most about this city and what comes to mind when I think about Rome.

There's nothing like strolling the streets of Rome in a simple dress, with my camera in one hand and an ice cream in the other. I'm seriously starting to contemplate moving there for a month or two. Wouldn't that be something? Learning Italian while exploring this amazing city. But I guess I should master my French before I move on to another language, right? Well, it's on my list of things I would love to do someday.

See Part I of my photos from Rome here.
