The fall in Paris can be absolutely amazing at times (which I'm sure you probably know by now after seeing posts like this and this) but the autumn can also be very grey and very rainy. Yes, yes, I keep hearing people saying — and commenting — "Paris is just as beautiful in the rain" and while that might be true for a lot of people, I'm afraid I'm not one of them. Perhaps it's because I'm from Sweden where I feel like I've already got my fair share of rain and grey weather or perhaps it's just because I prefer the sun.

Anyhow, sometimes I try to embrace what mother nature surprises me with and I'll go on my little walks anyway. The positive thing with this kind of weather? I can find myself almost completely alone in the parks of Paris. And except for a few hundreds of pigeons that was just the case when I payed a visit to Jardin du Palais Royal the other day.
