Winter in New York
So one of the perks about coming to New York a while before fashion week starts is actually being able to enjoy the city. So far I've got to try new restaurants, catching up with dear friends, indulging in delicious sweets that I can't find back in Paris (come on people, how hard is it to make a decent doughnut in the French capital?!) and wander around the beautiful Central Park together with Nicole. It also means that I had the possibility to take my camera out on a little adventure when a snow storm hit New York again the other day. Of course it was tempting to just hide away under my duvet and plow through Netflix all day but luckily I managed to convince myself that taking walk through New York, in a snow storm, together with my camera was a good idea.
After a walk through the charming streets of West Village it basically looked like I had taken a shower and even though my feet were completely frozen when I returned home it was kind of worth it. Getting to see New York City under a white blanket of freshly fallen snow is something I've always wanted to do and since I haven't seen snow since it last snowed in Paris over a year ago now I was incredibly excited.
