After a vespa ride around Paris together with Braden yesterday we found ourselves in Jardin du Luxembourg just in time for the little boats to be put down in the water. Forget video games and iPhone apps – it's hard to beat this old school entertainment. And another nice things about seeing these little boats come out is that it's a sign that we're officially in the spring/summer season now. Speaking of spring, staying in the city during the Easter weekend has been absolutely lovely since the city seems to have emptied itself of most people. It's been calm, quiet and I've found myself completely alone during the mornings while running a few errands. Even though I miss my family a little bit extra during holidays like this, good friends, cosy dinners and lovely days outside kind of make up for it all.
