Little Recap

My weekend in Instagram photos by Carin Olsson (Paris in Four Months) I've barely been home this weekend and I've slept far too little but it's been such wonderful weather and so many fun things going on that I haven't really noticed the lack of sleep or my exhausted feet (until now). I thought I'd share what I've been up to through a few photographs (since I didn't bring the camera everywhere these Instagram shots will have to do). I had the pleasure of spending all Friday afternoon and Saturday morning shooting the very lovely Norma who was here visiting Paris (but more of that later on). We started our Saturday morning with coffee, tea and some pastries in the sun. On my way to her hotel I walked across the Seine and looked up, only to see the beautiful Eiffel Tower all calm and quiet around 8am. I wish I could have this breathtaking view every single morning.

I also have some very exciting news to share! For the last couple of months I've been working together with Stephanie and SS Print Shop on a very special collaboration. For the first time ever my photographs will be available for sale in her print shop later this week. I can't wait to show you the entire collection in just a little while! I'm so excited and hope you'll like what we've created together.

After late nights and too much wine you're allowed to start your mornings with croissants, no? So I did anyway. In bed. But I think my 10km walk along the Seine last night must have made up for it, right? At least that's what I keep telling myself. Hopefully the walk also made up for all the pastries I ate while shooting in the pasty kitchen at the gorgeous hotel Shangri-La here in Paris. I got to spend the day alongside Chef Pâtissier François Perret, watching his every move. One of the most interesting and exciting experiences so far!

The weather has been absolutely amazing here in Paris during the last couple of days and wearing anything (especially my jeans) has been way too warm. Luckily I've managed to cool down with several café glacé (iced coffee) at Fondation Cafe and La Caféothèque. Luckily this kept me cool when I later helped my darling Marissa move furniture across the city in our own little rented van – yes, I'm yet another experience richer.

... During days like these, when I don't have more than a minute at home, you'll find more photos and updates on Instagram.
