A couple of weeks ago, when the lovely Norma was in town, I was invited to the Shangri-La pastry kitchen (that just happens to have a view of the Eiffel Tower by the way, how cool isn't that?) to shoot a little cooking lesson together with their very talented pastry chef François Perret. I always say that if I had a few more lives to live, I would be a chef in one of them. Or a pastry chef... I haven't really decided yet. Anyways, then you can imagine how excited I was for this day to arrive. Not only did this little experience offer a very delicious tasting session, we also got to learn how to make the tasty little treats ourselves. But my favourite part about this day was to see how a pastry kitchen at one of the most luxurious hotels in Paris really functions on a daily basis. If they would have left me in the kitchen I'm pretty sure I could have kept watching everyone cook for hours and hours. Thank you chef François Perret, Norma and the beautiful Shangri-La hotel for this super fun experience that I won't forget anytime soon.
