After spending a day in Shangri-La's pastry kitchen together with the lovely Norma, I had the pleasure to photograph her around Paris at some of her favourite places in this city. We all have our own favourite spots when it comes to Paris but it's always so much fun to be let in on other people's secrets and places that are special to them. We started our day at Norma's little hotel haven at the beautiful Shangri-La hotel (a place I certainly didn't mind spending my time at) and later continued on to her favourite shop; Astier de Villatte. I've heard people rave about this little place for ages now but still never ventured inside until now – perhaps that's a good thing though since my wallet probably would have been completely empty if I had. Walls and walls of pretty ceramics, beautiful scented candles (I'm coming back for the Stockholm & Paris one since that's just too much of a coincidence to ignore) and other little items that made me understand what all the fuss have been about. We enjoyed snacks and coffee at Le Nemours and took an early morning stroll through Jardin des Tuileres, where the light was absolutely perfect for a couple of shots before we hit up Rue Saint-Honoré for some shopping. A pretty perfect Saturday if you ask me. Merci for a lovely day Norma!
