Even though I was in Nice over the weekend for work, I did manage to take a few photos and stroll the streets on this beautiful city for myself as well. Last time I visited Nice and the French Riviera was together with a former boyfriend and a couple of friends over four year ago now but not too much has changed in this little city by the sea. Nice is still colourful and undeniably charming, and so were the people. Perhaps it because I've been living in Paris for a while now but after a couple of hours I realised that the kindness of strangers actually shocked me a little bit. Being treated to five glasses of wine by people I've never met before, making friends with several taxi drivers and having cars stop to let me cross the street are things I'm not too familiar with after Parisian life. The happiness and relaxed vibe must have gotten to me because after an intense work period during fashion week, Nice (including sun, sea, room service and the fluffiest bathrobe you can ever imagine) was exactly what I needed.
