At first glimpse Seminyak, a little area north of popular Kuta (which I'm glad I didn't make it to by the way), looks just like any other little town in Bali but after giving it a closer inspection you'll find shops, restaurants and cafés more likely to be located in Sydney or New York than in between palm trees and massage places in the midst of Bali. Apparently it's possible to get your flat white fix (and better than most places in Paris) even if your in the middle of the tropics. The Coffee Library and Revolver Espresso both made it impossible to not sit down for a drink. And a bite. The avocado toast at Revolver Espresso was better than any I've tasted in Paris and the juice served at The Coffee Library came fresh in a big pitcher – what more is there to say? I also got my very first swan made for me in the form of latte art and I think that's when my heart completely melted. I wish I could go back to these places on a daily basis.
