I've been wanting to see and experience Australia for quite sometime now and I'm so incredibly happy that I've finally got to tick this little dream off of my list. For some reason quite a few of my closest friends happen to be from this part of the world (probably because most people I encountered were absolutely lovely) and getting to experience Australia myself has made me understand where they come from and my friends even better than before (cheesy but true). They have such a great way of life. You enjoy, you're healthy (unless you insist on buying a package of Digestive chocolate biscuits every time you go to the supermarket), you're constantly outside and you're just happy. That's pretty much how I would sum up Australian life. Throw in a couple of barbecues and surfboards and you'll get the whole picture. I've never seen so many tank tops in my entire life. On guys that is. Jean shorts, banana bread, Zimmermann bikinis, avocado on toast and cronuts have taken over the entire place (not that I mind the slightest) and I've never had so much great coffee in one city. Since Sydney and the Central Coast is such a tiny, tiny part of this humongous country I think another trip is in order in the future... Although I couldn't visit without coming back to Sydney I think.
A few of my favourite places in Sydney (that you can see in the photos above) if anyone is planning on a visit would be: Porch Bread & Wine Parlour (restaurant), Bread & Circus (restaurant), The Grounds of Alexandria (restaurant, sweets & flowers), The Boathouse (restaurant), Three Blue Ducks (restaurant), Burger Project (restaurant), Brewtown Newtown (restaurant, cronuts & coffee), The Shangri-La (drinks), Opera Bar (drinks), A Loft Story (coffee shop), Don Campos (coffee shop), Sensory Lab (coffee shop), Adriano Zumbo (sweets).
