So, as promised I'd like to share a couple of London favourites with you all. I guess I only got to experience a teeny tiny bit of this huge city this time (and I certainly have to come back for more) but what I did manage to try was pretty darn good. I mostly kept to the west part of London during this trip since my beautiful hotel, St Ermin's Hotel, which I loved staying at, was located in this part of town. I tried to do as much walking as I possible could but eventually had to give up and get myself in to a cab... Anyhow, here's a few London suggestions for anyone planning a trip soon:
St. Ermin's Hotel (hotel), Threadneedle Hotel (hotel), Honest Burgers (food), Meat & Liquor (food), Burger & Lobster (food) *, Ottolenghi (food & dessert), Granger & Co. (breakfast), Harrods' Food Hall, White Mulberries (coffee), Tap Coffee (coffee), Kensington Square Kitchen (coffee & cake), Ben's Cookies (cookies), Hummingbird Bakery (cupcakes), Liberty London (shopping), Victoria & Albert Museum, Portobello Road Market, Borough Market, Kensington Park and St James's Park. Many people also recommended Sketch, Chiltern Firehouse, The Shard and Duck & Waffle, which I will have to try out the next time I'm in town!
* As you can tell I tend to eat quite healthy when I'm away...
