Jewellery: Cartier’s Paris Nouvelle Vague collection
The last couple of photos I created for Cartier a while back were inspired by "Paris at Night" and I have to say that they were probably my favourite ones to shoot (I know, shocker since the previous one included a mountain of pastries, right?). Since shooting at dusk and nighttime isn't something I usually do I found it both challenging and exciting to take on something different this time – especially when you only have 5 minutes while the Eiffel Tower is sparkling to nail all the shots that you need.
This hour, when the sun has gone down and right before the sky turns completely black (although that happens quite late during summer time) is one of the best times to see the city that is Paris. Bathing in blue colours with glimmering street lights and glistening glares from the boats passing by. I hope I'll never take these moments, or spectacular views like this one for granted. Photographing and creating these stories for Cartier has been a dream come true and I'm thrilled to be ending the story on this note. Although, I do have a little extra something to share after this as well, just because we had so much fun shooting it and couldn't help ourself to continue even though the light was gone...
