After not being back in Stockholm since October I decided to fly home over Easter to see my family and to surprise my mom. I've never flown home without telling her before so the nerves while getting on the plane and while pulling up in a taxi outside my childhood home (well, at least where I spent my teenage years) were on top to say the least. I got to spend a few days together with the people who mean the most to me, forget about an overfull inbox and urgent deadlines for a little while and just relax, stroll, run errands that I'm not able to do here in Paris and enjoy my family's company. The cherry on top was the fact that the weather was better than I ever could have asked for!
A few of my favourite places this time were: Kaffeverket (café), Café Pascal (café), Fabrique (café and the best cardamom buns), Greasy Spoon (brunch), Urban Deli (lunch, dinner & grocery shop), Cajsa Warg (grocery shop), NK (department store). If you want more tips and suggestions you're more than welcome to check out my two previous posts about this city I call home as well: My Stockholm & Stockholm Favourites.
