I know I’m a bit late to the game, as it’s already mid-January, but Happy New Year! I hope everyone’s 2019 is off to a great start. The new year in Paris is off to a kind of grey start. Two weeks into the new year I think the city had only seen a total of 4 minutes of sunlight. Ahhhh! I know. Awful. But honestly. I’ve been in a pretty great mood despite this. Surprise surprise! I’ve started a new routine which includes working out in order for my body to feel stronger and get the “maintenance work” it actually deserves. I bet you never thought you’d read this sentence over here, right?! I’m so proud that I’ve lasted almost two weeks now! I’m not one of new years resolutions, so this isn’t one. I’ve just decided that I definitely need to take care of my body. And just as I’ve decided to take care of my body physically, I really want this year to be a year where I also dedicate time to evolve and feel better with myself mentally! I think we all (well, most of us anyway) have a little bit of work to do when it comes to self love, self-esteem etc. etc. So I hope that 2019 will be the year I take proper care of me.
