A few memories, captured on film during our time in Rome. Remember I told you that I bought my own very first film camera a while back? Yeah, exactly, the Rollei 35! These photos are not taken with that camera, haha. For those of you who saw my film post from Greece, perhaps you also read that something was wrong with that camera and I ended up with about 6 actually usable photos out of about 3 rolls of film. Yeah, not ideal. Although I think the problem is fixed now. But since I knew that I would leave for a month more or less and most of that time would be spent on different beaches, in hot weather and with lots of sand and water around us, I decided to not bring this camera on this trip. It was a bit pricey and I don’t want to ruin in completely with those weather conditions. It’s also a completely manual camera, which makes it hard to capture spontaneous moments quick and easy. Don’t worry, I still love that camera but I decided to buy a little toy that I wouldn’t be so scared to break (if worst come to worst) and that would be able to capture those moments quickly and just for fun. So I opted for a Minolta Riva Zoom Pico. No idea whatsoever behind that decision but it seems to be working out fine! Simple, easy and lots of fun memories captured on film. So that’s what I shot these photos on – to make a long story even longer.
