I just came back home after spending a few wonderful days in the South of France together with Estée Lauder. We were there to celebrate their skincare line called Re-Nutriv in Gordes – a place I’ve never visited until now. It was truly one of the most wonderful experiences and I loved discovering yet another little spot in this region that I’ve quickly fallen in love with.

Now let’s talk about Estée Lauder and the reason for my trip there. I’ve grown up watching my mother use these products so it was truly a dream to create these photos for them while there. I’ve been using a couple of different products by the brand for a while now and they. Are. So. Good. I understand that we’re all constantly bombarded by commercials, sponsored posts etc. and it can be hard to know what's really true and what’s not. Well, let me start by saying: I never take on projects I don’t fully believe in. And secondly: the products by Estée Lauder were what changed my view on skincare a couple of years ago. I never really used to care much about skincare before (spoken like a true 20-something-year-old) but I was given this Advanced Night Repair Mask that I tried on one evening because why not. When I removed the mask and looked at myself in the mirror I couldn’t believe my eyes. It had removed my ugly frown wrinkle in my forehead and my skin looked silky smooth. There and then I thought to myself for the very first time “ah, maybe there’s something to skincare products after all…”. And so my obsession with anything beauty begun.

Today I love trying new skincare and beauty products and I guess I have Estée Lauder to thank for that revelation, haha. Or maybe it’s the fact that it’s becoming more and more important as I’m getting older. Either way, I was all giddy and excited for this trip together with a brand I admire so much and it lived up to all the expectations I had. Now, I can’t wait to start using the Re-Nutriv line and see what it does to my skin!
